The Darnestown Civic Association’s fiscal year begins on January 1st and ends December 31th.  As a paid DCA member, you are empowered to vote at town meetings and support DCA’s participation in numerous issues affecting our area.

Your support as a paid member helps provide important financial backing for the DCA’s ongoing expenses and interests:
  • The Little Acorn, our quarterly newsletter
  • Bi-annual telephone directory
  • DCA Hoedown, Spring Social, and Holiday Tree Lighting gatherings
  • Darnestown Heritage Park
  • American flags for our Flag Program
  • Monitoring of issues that impact Darnestown: zoning, road construction and safety, village development, hiking/biking trails, deer overpopulation, and environmental issues, to name a few
  • DCA “war chest,” money for legal battles against issues that could negatively impact Darnestown
Annual dues are $35. For residents who wish to contribute more, we have the Acorn member progam at $150, the Sponsor program at $100, and the Friend of Darnestown program at $50. 

Darnestown is a very special place. The DCA is committed to keeping the residential, commercial, and road development in check to preserve this place we call home. We are always looking for volunteers to help with our many issues. Please feel free to contact us to see how you can help.
